The Team

These guys make us sound good...

Mike Rodriguez

Mike "M-Rod" Rodriguez has been on the Dallas sports scene for 8 years. He began his sports broadcasting career in Sherman, Texas, at the CBS affiliate KXII. One of his first assignments was covering the Dallas Stars run at the Stanley Cup Championship in the spring of 1999. His next stop was at CW33 where he was a sports anchor and reporter. During that time M-Rod covered the rise of the Dallas Mavericks and the fall of the Cowboys triplets.

After a two year stint in Philadelphia as the host of Comcast Sportsnet's "Sportrise" , Mike returned to Dallas to began his radio career as a member of the 1080 KRLD sports team. During the baseball season you can listen to his post game reports and locker room interviews on "Rangers Replay."

Originally from Pennsylvania, Mike is proud to call Texas his new home. In his free time this former Temple University college baseball player still has an opportunity to take the field as a member of the Dallas Men's Senior Baseball League.

Pete Stein

Born in Austin, Pete Stein has always been fanatical about sports. Stein came to an early realization that he was not going to make it as a professional athlete, but soon became passionate about broadcasting. He started calling in high school football reports to Austin's KNOW-AM at 16 years old. Stein was hooked, and pursued a career in broadcasting.

Stein moved to North Texas in 1984, enrolling in East Texas State University. Stein's career path took him to the Prime Sports Radio Network as a show host and reporter. He also spent two seasons as the play-by-play voice of the Dallas Sidekicks.

His wife, Delia, has actually put up with him for 17 years. When not on his couch watching every sports broadcast possible, Stein can be found on the tennis court... where it's plainly clear that he made the right career choice.
